From this history, Julbo eyewear has produced unrivaled technical products geared towards mountain and snow sports. “We’re a mountain brand with  followings from sports that require highly technical products,” explained Julbo USA CEO, Nick Yardley. “If you look at the Julbo culture, you see people in mountaineering, backcountry skiing, ultra and trail running and enduro mountain biking. Cross country skiing at the high end is an obvious pairing for us”

Julbo USA  Cross Country athletes this year include U.S. Team members, Noah Hoffman and Ben Saxton, former Birkebeiner winner, Matt Liebsch and elite racers Annie Pokorny of the Stratton/T2 team and Lex Treinen of the APU program.

Of the new partnership with Julbo, Noah Hoffman wrote on his blog:

“When I started looking into who is on the Julbo team, I knew they must make great products. The headliner for the team is Frenchman Martin Fourcade, arguably the best biathlete in the world. Fourcade is a two-time Olympic champion (in Sochi), a five-time World Champion and three-time winner of the overall World Cup for biathlon. Also on the Julbo team are Glen Plake (U.S. big mountain skier who you may have seen in any number of ski films with his trademark blond Mohawk), Dylan Bowman (an ultra-marathoner living in Aspen who I admire through a mutual friend) and my teammate on the U.S. Ski Team for cross country Ben Saxton. I am proud to be on the Julbo team with these athletes,”

Cross country athletes have their choice of models to select from Julbo’s performance lineup. The Julbo Sniper being the single product that all athletes selected.
