All Good, an organic plant-based body care company has pledged to donate tax savings from the Trump tax cuts to organizations working on environmental issues.
“At times like these, we believe that it’s more important than ever for businesses to take responsibility for our planet and give back to environmental nonprofits working to create a positive impact,” said Caroline Duell, Founder of All Good. “I encourage other business leaders to join 1% for the Planet and reinvest at least a portion of the savings created by the recent tax bill back into the planet. Let’s take this opportunity to make a real difference.”
All Good has been a 1% for the Planet member since 2006 and contributed over $100,000 to support organizations that aim to protect and restore critical habitat, infuse nature connection in children’s education and positively impact our world for future generations.
“We recognize the intrinsic connection between the wellness of our planet and the wellness of our bodies. It’s common sense that as our business grows, our support for groups that steward the earth grows as well,” said Duell.
1% for the Planet connects dollars and doers together to accelerate smart environmental giving. Their revolutionary program certifies that businesses are in fact investing the planet, and ensures that 1% members are making smart investments with impactful non-profit partners.
“With the Trump Administration choosing to pull out of the Paris Climate Agreement, scrap the Clean Power Plan, remove important environmental protections, and cut research programs, there’s a greater need than ever for all of us — businesses and individuals — to support the environment. If you stand to benefit from the new tax bill, we encourage you to stand with us and re-invest at least a portion of Trump’s tax cuts back into the future of our planet,” said Kate Williams, CEO of 1% for the Planet.
