AUBURN, NH Fischer Skis is pleased to welcome longtime Fischer Race Athlete, Kikkan Randall to the One Way pole roster. Now retired and through an unexpected cancer treatment experience, the World and Olympic Champion is setting her sights on raising awareness for ski sport throughout the United States as she continues to work on behalf of FIS athletes and through her non-profit, Fast and Female.
“It’s a privilege to be here and it’s so powerful to see the reactions to the medal and to the raised profile of skiing. I can’t believe the response,” the beloved racer told news media in her recent tour of ski clubs and Fischer dealers in New England and Alaska.
Randall recently competed in the American Birkebeiner and is taking part in the Next Step program at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business.
Known for her high energy racing and grit, Randall brings power to all pursuits: A community minded skier, she continues to be involved in junior outreach programs in her former home state of Alaska, she’s raised money for ski focused charities and she will continue to race in endurance efforts including this fall’s New York City Marathon.
Kikkan will use the forthcoming Premio Diamond SLG10 in addition to her family of Fischer Speedmax products as she offers up product feedback and brand insights to Fischer and One Way.
